There was a thread of some1 asking where they could get the Clear Spoiler LEDs. Since this website lost about a week worth of threads, it's no longer here.

The guy posted that he couldn't find the clear spoiler leds on www.spoilers.com. The reason you couldn't find it on that site is because the real site is call www.spoiler.com or spoiler2000.com

Just to let you guys know, the replacement clear LED for the OEM spoiler is parts # 2240C. Hope that helps for anyone needing to replace their Spoiler LED.

what exactly are clear spoiler LEDs? are they supposed to be brighter?

they r the lights on ur spoiler they have a clear lens and bulbs but the bulbs light up red.........guys do a search it has been talked about so much !!!!!

No. It's not brighter. The name says all. It's clear lens.

Remove the 4 screws, and take out the OEM red LEDs. Then you can either wire tap or crimp some males and females snap connectors to the new Clear LED. I suggest the ladder. You can buy the snap connectors from Radio Shack part #64-3086. This would make the new Clear LED plug and play and then later on you can just reattach your OEM LED if you wished. The female snap connector goes on the black wire and the male snap connector goes on the red wire. Then just plug it in. One of the easiest mods I ever did.

this mod is very sharp on light color TL like SSM or WDP. I have NBP but I got this mod too and it looks just as good IMO
