springs go with H&R sports or Eibach Pro-kits depending what kinda drop you want.
you will need struts if you're going to drop your car with just springs, otherwise they'll bust when you'll lease expect it, so since you're gonna get your hands dirty do it all at once. front & camber kits depends on what kinda drop you're goin for ie. springs like Tein H-Tech or H&R OE Sports don't really need camber kits. If you haven't done your timing belt/drive belts/ tensioner/water pump replacement you may want to save those $$ because its coming up at 120k

(SPRINGS) well as for a dropp, i dont want no front finger gaps, so teins is out of the question, i think im DEF goin with neuspeed race or H&R....i want my car to be low, just about sittin on my tires......and the camber kit thing, will i still need one or that is basically for cars with the complete coilover systems?????
i dont understand how i can get 141 views and only 4 replies????? including mines????? when i first joined this site i thought it would have been friendly......but oviously you can see from a persons thread how much fee-back you really get..... this member "AMGala", made a thread about he got hit, in the rear nothing major just a new bumper and paint.......and he get so much comments.......i made a thread about what i plan to do and i need help and advice, i clearly stated that, because i know i wrote that shit in ENGLISH and yet i only get 4 replies........when i joined acurazine, i never intended to cause any trouble or what not........but how can i like to continue being a member if get 3 feedback out of 100 people?????? i never dissrespected any member.....but i feel that im being treated like i am a stranger.....when all i wanna do is make my TL look good........now u tell me how in the world u get 141views and 3 comments........i didnt even post a pic.......just info.........and still i feel like shit.......

Don't get off the bus man...I think you can get away without the camber kit as long as you go for a normal and not completely slammed drop. The eibach pro-kit and the H&R sport springs should be fine. I don't know how big a drop the neuspeed race springs are, but I've heard they ride kinda rough. Tech article on camber kits:http://heeltoeauto.com/httech/YaBB.pl?num=1162587420
rear camber kit if going more than 2 inch drop and dont like buying tires
front camber kit for 2 inch drop and you like to play with your suspension
Tein SS- basically see my sig, check other people signature as some list most of their mods proudly, and the ones they didnt like get a thread made warning others
I am 1 finger gap front barely 2 finger gap top of tire to fender lip on 18s
pics soon- washing day!!!
oh!- I had to RAISE the shocks from the mid point setting Tein has you start with
Overly wide tires 235, and rear fender edge issue to be resolved with grinder.
So low as you dare- no prob with SS -and easy to make ride mostly wife approved and quickly changed to play setting with a click click click

hey man- I wish yellow mains were legal here in the fog. call us jealous
You may notice hi-end cars on the German autobahn all have yellow mains
Dont hate us for being away at the hoidays or peole who read but have no factual input have not responded. Better than the 2 bit opinions some offer
When you have been here a while and contribute experience or show interest, you become friends with many people, and when something happens to your baby- we all mourn.
Look at Blackura, a well known member lost his car to a corner one night- all its goodies went to new homes right away
As to your original issue about the seal- many things cause wear and make the axle jump around and posiibly damage the seal- like bad control arm bushing, bad shocks etc.
When you get new struts- suddenly the old ones are remembered as handlng like a small boat following a cabin cruiser. Mine had 80k and were replaced with the Teins- which I continue to learn about their precise adjustment settings and ride control.
How are you people checking the struts- no leak means its good- not a chance.....
My sig with most of the mods so far

Go with Eibach Pro-Kit or H&R Race. Both give about the same drop. However, you will have about 1 finger gap all around. I have the Eibachs, and I needed a rear camber kit, but not front.
And try not to get personal about people not responding. The truth of the matter is that over the years, many people have asked similar questions about the same topics, and people don't like repeating themselves over and over. But I don't think anyone is really hating on you.

bI dropped my car and the front chamber was toast back was fine and it was 1.5 all the way around.
1. Replace Balljoints (a must) --same here
2. Change Axle SEAL (a must) --same here
3. REplacing Struts (Oem ones are sucky ) --same here
i have some h&r springs im putting in and a chamber kit along with brakes.
wish i had a garage
looks like im stuck in the rain.

HeelToe's tech article says up to 2 inch drop you can stay OE, and the effects of camber versus yadayada improves handling-
at approx 2 inch and more drop- you are in the - needs camber kits for sure-the alignment has to be within some portion of spec to operate and keep tires~
By getting an alignment after coilover install for example- you get a printout and the numbers.
Check back here and confirm if you are within range of tires lasting 25k miles, or get the kits.
Easy to install, and like the 2 piston calipers- something the car should have come with!
