Picts Are Up! (Get Your TLS Noticed)

Finally had a chance to take some pictures!
I apologize ahead of time because I haven't had a chance to wash the car and do the tires right in over a week and its been raining a lot here, so the car doesn't look as nice as it should.
You'll note that the Falken's have a blue stripe down the middle of each tire. I'm planning in spray painting my calipers the same blue color to match, and I'm going to replace the stock rotors with new vented and rustfree ones.
The wheels are titanium AT Italia's.
What do you guys think? I'm definitely getting a LOT more looks with these new shoes on the car. I think the wheels and tread design is just enough without going overboard.

Looks good, I cat really see the blue line you are talking about, but any way I dont think painting the calipers blue is a great idea. IMHO it would cheapen the looks of the car. I say just leave them be so they match your rims or paint them silver to be a clsoer match to the factory paint.

Very nice! I like those wheels. I've never seen those before. Are you saying they're actually titanium? Or is that the model name? And what kind of finish is that on them? Chrome or just a super-bright silver?

Thanks!
Can't do a drop around here, I'd be scrapping the bottom everywhere I drive - the back roads of New England aren't well suited for cars inches off the road.
The wheels come in silver, chrome, and titanium finish. The ones I have on are titanium, and run $1,299 for the set (I got a much better deal - long story :-) )

I would have got them one or two inches bigger, but the rims and the car look good. Good luck with your car.

BTW, I should mention that I got these from a huge wheel distributor.
They tried on *22* different sets of wheels on my car as an experiment, since it seems they get a lot of returns from dealers of wheels that are supposed to fit the TL/S based on size and specs, but which don't because of rubbing, primarily against the brake calipers.
Of the 22 "in spec" wheel sets they tried, only about 10 of the wheels actually fit!

Xorg! YES - You CAN do a drop. I've been "dropped" since April, and I have the body kit to boot! I drive practacly the same roads you do, and I have been "clear" since day one. The only thing I have to watch out for are the "dips" into parking lots/driveways, and when I pull into a tight curbed parking space, and that is only to protect the nose kit. I don't think that would be a problem on a lowered car without the kit. Check out one of my REALLY old posts, as I took measurements of the car before and after the Comptec springs were installed. They really do not lower the car that much, and the handling improvement is substantial.
Anyway, your car looks GREAT!! The wheels are sharp and agressive. If you lowered that thing, you'd be really stylin'!!

Ob> Hum, I'm just a bit hesitatnt since there are two spots on my way to work where my current setup rubs as times if I hit the spots at the wrong speed :-(
How much did lowering the car cost and where did you get it done?

Since I do not trust anyone around here to know what they are doing (as far as mods go - Schaller is great for regular service and they did not pitch a fit when I showed up with the mods I have), I went down to Park Ave Acura in NJ, a place that everyone here raved about.
They got me a loaner, did my car, and I drove around NJ until 1 or so when they called to say it was done! I felt better getting it done at an Acura dealer who would back me up if a warranty issue arises.
Now, you can get the parts from Tim here (at Acura-tl.com) and have them shipped to Park Ave and they will install them, no hassle! This way the site is supported and you know the stuff is installed properly. I am doing the Headers and Sways that way this month!
The pricing for their installs is on their web site. I do not know if I am supposed to put a link in a message anymore (there was some crap about this a while back), but what the heck.....
