Pics of My New Brake System
check it out and tell me what you think,
1. I cleaned and painted my calipers black
2. I got stainless steel braided brake lines
3. I got KVR rotors all around (slotted and silver cadmium dipped)
4. I got metal master pads all around
5. I got it all installed at the dealer (which messed up and charged me 240 for the entire job, it was suppose to be 240 for the front only, but they had to give it to me for that price!)
Yippy
Man what a difference, i'm luvin every minute of it!!

It looks really nice but it make me regret not having plated rotors
i have kvr's but i did not hear anything about having them plated before i bought em.. i heard of it when they were installed......
so they are not shinny as they were when i got em... they are turning darker and darker and i had to paint the hub cuz it was rusting.......
anyone knows if i can get them plated even if they are used??

from what i heard the plating on those rotors doesn't last forever anyway, but it does look really nice, but what i noticed is that on cold mornings the brakes are a little harder to stop with, until they warm up then they are awsome, is that because of the metal master pads? is this normal?
it doesn't take long to warm up maybe 1 good or 2 stops!
