PIAA fog lights

Hi everyone,

I wanted to put some new bulbs into the fog light socket but wasnt sure which ones to go for. I have heard that using bulbs that have too much wattage will burn my wiring harness but i really want to have a whiter color to them , mostly because i think it looks really weird to have the white of the HID's and the yellow of halogen in the fogs...

any advice?

thanks

The brand name of a company. You said PIAA, he said Sylvania SilverStar. Anyway, it all depends on what color you want your fog lights to be. Also note that if you have the fog light mod some lights might burn out because of the alarm (if you have the foglights rewired, they will go on/off everytime you lock/unlock your car -- the lights flicker) so look into that also. I think one guy with Sylvania Silverstars that was on this board burned out his lights like that.

well id want them to match the same type as the HID's... i went to one store and the guy quoted 80 for a pair (in his sale with regular being 120... im sure i can find them cheaper online) but he also said that they wont burn out even though theyre outputting more wattage... what do u guys think? ull have to excuse my newbie status, im not that familiar with everything yet as i just got interested in allt he mods after gettin my TL about a month ago
