photoshop request....por favor!
Can somebody please show me what the following two options would look like....
1) Paint the chrome in the foglights black, and leave the metal trim as is.
2) Paint the chrome white, and the outer metal black. (I kinda like this option in my head)
My right has a hole in it, yes a hole. I live in South Florida, so output is not really a concern....Feel free to comment.

I don't know....I can't visualize it....I am thinkin no if the outer metal ring is black, it might have a clean look that brings out the bottom of the bumper more...But then again black would be nice as well...
I've tried to imagine and I've tried to put it together in MS paint, but its just not right. l0l

not that uncomman, my driver side had two holes punched in the lense, one was very minor, where the other one was quite big, and surprisingly was still working, even though most of the chrome had corroided (it got replaced, expensive f***ers)
then my passenger also has a crack in it, but no holes

Really? A hole in glass sounds un-common to me. l0l...But yeah the chrome is starting to corrode and it looks nasty as fuhh...So I wanna open em' up and re-do them. I have the Lexan sheet, so tomorrow I will see if I can get a good cut. I don't have a dremel, so I will start with a jig saw, and if that does not work maybe a blade attachment that I have that may work.

used this (the protection one) on my new one, plus the old passenger side

so hopefully it will keep the new one from getting damaged (i got the light tinted too, for that tinted look )

you should see the windshields around here, they litially get sand blasted over the years, and are only like $200 dollars to replace (cracks are pretty commen [at least 1 out of 10 cars] proably has a crack in their windshield especially during the winter), cause they are litially a required maintance item every couple of years, depending on how often you drive and such during the winter (mine is actually not that bad, because it was basically parked when it snowed)

Yeah, that makes sense I guess....I don't know if the laws are the same, but down here in Fl. insurance companies are required by law to replace a damaged windshield, free.
Still no photoshops guys?

depending on your insurance plan they might replace it, but cracked windshields are so commen here, that they geneally write it into the your policy that they don't cover the windshields (except for accidents and stuff), but they will geneally cover the chip repairs though, to try and help prevent it from turning into a crack though
but to tell you the truth i much rather have to replace the windshield and stuff occasionally, then having to work on rusty cars all day long (cars here look new underneth compared to east coast cars)

Yeah, a while back when I was looking I could tell which cars have been up-north from looking at the exhaust piping and various other components on the undercarriage....According to carfax, my car was in Chicago for 3 months and you can see a fair amount of rust underneath.
