Performance Rotors & Pads?

Now that I have new tires and wheels, the guy at the wheel shop recommended I get some new slotted rotors and dustfree brake pads. I know EBC makes some great green/red pads, but where would you guys look for new rustfree rotors for our ride?

Snook sells crossdrilled/slotted rotors through ACP. Basically they are stock rotors that have been drilled. I've heard good things about the Axxis Metal Master Pads as well as the ones from Endless/Zeal. If you're willing to spend the money hands down the best option os the Brembo Big Brake Kit...

Only problem is that stock rotors will still rust, I've seen aluminum units in street mags for Civics and Integras that are rustfree and already slotted and drilled - do they make these for the TLS?

if i were to get pads id go for the EBC greens. they have no metal content. which means they will be very kind to the rotor, though stopping distance might be slightly worse than the metal masters. id rather my rotors last longer than be able to stop a few feet shorter

as for rotors...thats tough. for longetivity (which is my only concern), id take either OEM, or brembo oem replacements)

I've heard great things about EBC and have a set of greens on the way for my Saab 9-3, whose OEM pads spit out more brake dust than my chimney :-)

brembo rotors will help.u can either buy the stock sizw cross drill or slot rotors..and u can get some metal matrix brake pads for total about $400..of course u can upgrade to 13" brembo rotors and 4 pistons brembo calipers. for about $2000.....

bioyuki, that is incorrect, I don't sell those anymore.
The ones on the site now, are about 1/2 the weight of our stock rotors. Right RaDams ? When we picked up the new rotors and stock rotors, there was quite a difference....
And they are crossdrilled and gold cadium plated....

Tim's right... the units he sells now are not redrilled stock units. They're new rotors that have been cross-drilled (and radiused so they don't develop cracks around the holes) and then gold cadmium plated. And they do weigh less than the stock units (unsprung weight is the enemy!). I highly recommend these if you're thinking of upgrading.

After hearing reviews of EBC pads by many who installed them on their accords and other makes; I for one wouldnt get them. I installed Axxis Metal Masters on my Accord, and if you can live with the occasioal squeal they are great pads. Porterfield makes some nice pads as well.

Ivebeen thinking about upgarding my pads for awhile, if I run into any problems with the rotors I can just replace them with these lighter ones which look beautiful down the road if need be.

I got x-drilled and metal masters....hmmm...I have been getting some excessive squealing though...
