People with H&R OEM Sport Springs...

Hey guys,

got a few quick questions regarding H&R OEM sport springs.

1.) Did you notice a significant difference in ride quality?
2.) Is the drop even, even though it is .75 front .5 back?

Thanks guys.

Ride quality went down like 25%, but what do you expect, your lowering the car. Drop is most even I have seen on a tl. I have the sport H&Rs on my TLS. I am very happy

You know, I was interested in the OE Sports as well, with the very slight drop.

Tell me what you all think...I think the wheel gap on the Type-S w/ 17's is fine with stock springs, so if I were to add 18" wheels, would the slight drop(~.75") provided by the OE sports maintain about the same appearance???? I'm just thinking that a 1.5" drop would be too much for me? But then again I want to avoid the 4x4 look, so would the .75" drop do it for me?

Just got mine lower with H&R OE sport spring and Tokico adjustable struts last weekend. The drop was about 1.25" front and 1" rear, also I put the struts setting on 3 and I feel the ride is much better than stock. By the way I have oem body kit on too and I still have about .5" before I hit the curb at the parking lot.

I second that! It would be helpful if you can post a pic because I myself is seriously considering the H&R OE but have seen very few pics of TLs with it. I have to keep my car practical and the Sport Springs just may bee too much drop.

Me too! I have the bodykit and I cannot lower it to the point that it will hit the curb. H&R OE for me or nothing.

OEM body kit and my H&R sport springs are in the mail.

I have a body kit and I still stratch the front lip a bit with the stock height.

I say drop it and it'll look tight.....

I'm looking for the same answers...c'mon someone has gotta have the H&R OE springs on their ride. I prefer not to go w/the sport springs cause that drop, like to comptechs are too radical for me. I would be scraping and rubbing everywhere.
