Parking Brake Light Comes on and Stays On Sometimes... What Gives?

Parking Brake Light Comes on and Stays On Sometimes... What Gives?

Does anyone here have the same issure? where the parking brake light stays on even after you took the foot brake off?

Check the float in your master cylinder reservoir; chancs are the float is stuck indicating a "low fluid" warning.

Latest update. Lawaia was exactly right... I took it to the dealer and that's what they showed me. Once corrected, the light never came back...

have that prob too, but goes away after a few mintues..

how can i check the float in the master cylinder??

when it happened to me, all i did was take the cap to the master cylinder off , give it a shake then put it back on......its bee fine since then!
