Paint help ahhh!!

Just figured out that the circular mark on my hood isnt just sum mud or dirt that i didnt really have a chance to get to. THE FRIGGIN PAINT IS COMING OFF! Someone please tell me wat to do with this. Can i just put some clear coat over it???

Looks like oxidation to me. Same thing is going on with my spoiler. It needs to be repainted as far as I can tell you.

Looks like a piece of bologna was on there in the sun for some time. Your only recourse is to have a body shop respray it.

if you're gonna take it to a shop. hit it with some high grit sandpaper and rubbing compounds and let us know how it goes before the shop goes to square one on it

Agreed. That's what came to my mind at first. Looks like it went through the clear coat and now on to the paint itself.. Get it fixed asap bro, there is nothing personally you can do about it..

How big is the spot? If its smaller than bologna its prolly bird shit. Theres a spot on my trunk from bird shit the last owner didn't clean off...

Its not that big, little smaller than half dollar size, looks huge in the pic cuz i took it wayyy close up. what the hell do birds eat to do that to my paint?!?!
