Paint defect?? Rear bumper, passenger side...
After washing and waxing my car a few days ago, I noticed in the sunlight that the paint on a part of the rear bumper looked weird. It's the part directly behind the passenger side rear wheel, on the lower portion. It has like spots.. kind of hard to explain in words. I waxed it again, this time more thorougly, and it was still there.
I checked all over the car, and this was the only part that had these spots. Odd. Should I talk to the dealership? Car's only a few months old.

Indeed, it is silver. So I guess I'm not the only one with this problem. Between thin paint and uneven clearcoat, it was probably the latter. I think I'll talk to the dealership about it next time I take it in.

It came out perfect, you'd never know that it was repainted. At the same time they stripped and repainted three quarter panels because of the mud flap damage. I can't speak for long term reliability because I don't have the car anymore.
