Paint chips everywhere!!

It's not just my hood. I've got a big chip on my roof and two on my trunk. How the heck did they get there? Touch up paint works, but you can still easily see it if you look right at it. Driving me nuts.

Yep.. I hear you.. makes you wonder how....

I am thinking of getting a nose mask (I have heard good and bad about nose masks) to atleast avoid chips on the front.

The acura paint is very fragile.... are all cars like this

The mask only covers a small area. I've never used a mask and I have just as many chips above where the mask line would be as I would below. I can just imagine removing the mask and how funny it would look to have half my hood weathered by the road and the other half not....
I seem to find my acura's paint more delicate than my others too.

I have a mask due to communting. It is a two piece so you can lift the hood. Fits very nice and no scratches from flapping ( I have had it into triple digits) also keep the car covered at work. With frequent detailing, I don't think weathering paint will be a problem. Check here.
