Red face paint

2 weeks ago bought a WDP 2002 TL-S. Great car here in the city after driving a BMW M3 trying to avoid pottholes (Dallas,TX).
While cleaning my car I noticed a strange paintchip on the rear drivers door and after looking more closely i felt that the whole paint on that door is darker. Just came back from the dealership and they confirmed the color difference. They are going to talk to the regional manager next week. They confirmed that it is the factory paint. Car is never repainted!
Anybody has had any similiar problems? (It looks to have gotten
even worse over the past few days).
Any advice what to do? Repaint or demand new car?
Pleae let me know what you all TL people think.
I've been following this forum for a while and enjoy some of the postings. Thanks for any input regarding the paint matter.

yeah don't settle with a repainted one...... ask for a new one. remember, you PAID for a brand new car.

There have been quite a few people here who posted problems matching the WDP when getting the accesssory under-body kit. This is the first I've seen of a factory body panel not matching. You are right to seek a brand new car, but be polite with the regional manager. If you come across as an arrogant jerk, they'll be less likely to treat you well. Good luck!
