Our car is long, but I would'nt say too long.
It fits into the intermediate size class of cars.
I like its size. If ur comparing to somethings the size of a
VW Passat, or BMW 3series, or Volvo s60, or Mercedes C-Class, yes its a bit longer than all those cars, but all those cars fall into the compact size class.

I'm not bothered by the added length over the standard Accord platform, but what I do hate is the huge turning radius. I've had the car since May and I still can't judge the correct room needed to make a clean U-turn in the road or parking lot. My Maxima was much better than this. I think that's why we're seeing so many tranny failures--all the three-point turns everyone's making....

i dont think the car is too long. In fact it has a nice sleek flow to it. Unlike the IS and 3 series 4 door which both have that short, chubby, cut off look. Dont get me wrong both cars look great but i hate that short look. Now the 3 series coupe is a different story. Drool

It doesn't feel that long when I go shop for my car... and it didn't feel that way when I test drove it......
It is long, compared to the Bimmer/Is...... but I think it handles pretty well for a car its size, and got decent power, interior/trunk space............

I was surprised to find that my TL is longer than the SUV I traded for it. As pointed out above, it didn't feel long when I was test driving...I learned this when I had to rearrange my garage a little for everything to fit. As for turning radius, I feel like I can turn on a dime! The SUV required a 40 acre field, I always sort of feared getting pinned in a corner in it. Initialy I didn't want to leave the ranks of riding high in and SUV for riding low in a car, but I love it. Especially on my daily commute over about 12 miles of curvy rural road. ...Check with me once it snows and see what I think then.

I think so too some times. It seems longer than it is when I try to park and look through my mirrors. My new bumper shaved off 2 inches and I think it looks better now.

Actually, i like it that it's longer than the Accord. It looks more luxurious and substantial as it is. I mean i wouldn't mind if it was even longer and wider, actually. As for the turning radius, i drove a dodge caravan daily before the TL, and this TL just has a smaller turning radius for sure. All depends on what you were used to.

It's length is fine with me, I like the size. I just wish Honda designed the trunk deck following a upward angle continuing from front. You know the upward angle the side windows have, the whole design from the side except the trunk deck lid. Sloping down of the trunk lid is the major part of the design I don't agree with.
