Other car's paint scratch in mine
A dumb ass just hit my car on the side.
It is not a major accident, but it left some of his paint scratch in car's paint.
How can I get rid of it? I tried applying W-40, and no good.
I tried removing it with nail polish remover, not working.
Please help.

Products such as GS27 or other light polishes will actually do a good job on damage like that. Thats what they what they were really designed to do. The key is dont buff some on and expect all the "surface scratches"(other guy's paint) to come off, you'll have to buff and reapply several times to get rid of the damage little by little. Then be sure to wax the area thorougly.

Does it really work with ease?

Its nothing more than a fine polish which also does a good job polishing up metals such as brass and our exhaust tips. It used to do an excellent job on the polished lip of my old rims as well. If thats all you want GS does a good job, abd yes it can be bought at many autopart stores. I have the same product made by Blue Coral, and its not as good at all.

Actually claybaring it is the way to go...although I don't know about the other stuff a claybar will take the paint or other foreign material right out. I just got hit on my brand new baby's rear bumper...big white mark...almost completely gone now courtesy of $4 claybar...
