I think the reason people go with Philips is because they're well known company. Sylvania also makes good bulbs, but I guess people doesn't know those are same company.
BTW, bebber has Osram 6000K and he was happy with his bulbs.

I'd go with Osram Sylvania, but only because my Dad helped designed them. (he designs the glass)

go with Philips. after one of my stock bulbs (Osram) blew, i replaced them with Philips bulbs. Even though they were only 4300K, they were distinctively more bluish than the Osrams. Since only one bulb blew, i had a good opportunity to compare both of them. I've also heard that Philips bulbs generally have more blue tint than Osrams.
BTW, I only got Philips cuz that's all the guy on ebay had. I paid $75 for a pair, but freaken Acura dealership wanted $225 for only one blub
