At the office and look at my almost 7 year old car and stilll looks amazing. Maybe the 2 coats of wax might that something to do with it.

My mother purchased the car new on July 22, 2001, which is very, very late for a 2000 MY. Wish she had waited for the '02, oh well.

Talking

I bought my 02 TLS on April '01. I still remember the first weekend I drove it to see my wife (gf at the time) and I had a guy in an maxima said, DAMN, new TYPES! Been on the forum since april. Never left even though I don't have the S no more. This thread makes me miss my TL even more.

I been lookin at new car cause the TL has 104k, but the more I look I just feel its not worth getting payments again.

I still remember the first day I got my TL night of Jan 22nd 2001. I was only 17 then so I didnt get to drive it home from the dealership, My dad did. Once home I just sat in the car for 30mins and played with all the buttons. It was cloud 9.

yeah, the non-payment factor is huge in my book. Plus, the fact that its still working pretty good.

I bought my 2003 SSM TL-S/Navi in March or April of 2002 with 7 miles on it. I have a deposit for a buyer so next week when the supercharger comes off the TL is outta here. I'm going to miss her .I think I'm going with a pick up next time guys. I test drove a 2007 4dr Toyota tundra limited and 2007 cadillac ext. I'm not getting anything till next year...I like the ext but they don't hold value well.

Yep, I learned how to drive at that age. Parents bought the car fresh off the lot. I drove it here and there til I got my permit/license. Age 16 is when the keys were handed over. I found a job and paid my parents back for the payments they made. Had the tranny replaced once, only because it had a recall. It has never failed me. "knocks on wood* and when it does there'll be a surprise.

I always liked this car even when it was introduced in 1999. 02-03 fronts are just not me even though they are beautiful.

P.S.

I'm not spoiled if any of you guys are thinking that. I'm spoiling myself by buying all these damn mods for the car.

I still help my parents pay bills and I'm also going to school full-time. Please don't judge me.

My 03 SSM-S is a CPO, BUT my father purchased his 03 WDP-S new in the summer of 03. He only got rid of it because he was worried about it's reliabilty after only 2yrs and 49k he had the tranny replaced along with the wheel bearing and he was putting miles on fast.

My TL has no issues at all and I'm at 46k. I love it to death and his is what made me fall in love with mine. I just couldn't afford it new. Here is a pic of it with my old Integra's.

LOL. I'm studying accounting. Going the full ride. Heard that having a CPA is hell but what the hell...you gotta work hard to enjoy life your way.

Hoping to start up a garage here in Northern VA as well. Just waiting for my time...
