Opinions wanted

Well I've been wanting to paint my front grill for as long as I can remember, Im jut not a big fan of chrome, and did the same mod on my Accord way back which I liked.

Recently some ass tapped my car and I may need to get some painting done. If so, then Im definitely painting my front grill. Just wanted to see what everyone thinks and gather opinions.

So which do you like, the A-spec-like grill, or painting everything except the badge??

Heres stock.

I think that would look hot. Im not really much of a fan of the chrome either. I've got a 00' Naples Gold and i want to paint the door handles and the chrome on the grill to match the rest of the car.

Leave the chrome, paint the grill (mesh and black plastic). smoothnyc (Sean) got it done when he was repainting his bumper. Looked very good, it was noticable, but nothing crazy.

I've got the a-spec type, and I like the chrome soooo much better. I've been looking to change mine from the a-spec trim around the grill, and body coloured door handles, to the chrome set.

I just have to find a place where I can buy them.

Leave the chrome alone. But then again I'm a chrome guy.

If I had to then I would pick the A-spec.

win win situation

before I saw the pics I was thinking you meant the black mesh...now that would be fugly . Chrome accent looks nice, but all painted would be completey original.

i like the second pic. the trim painted along with the wing that holds the A. if u wanna go a step further, also paint just the black plastic mesh to the back of the grille.

Try this. Leave the outside silver and paint the middle portion including the badge black. It would be mean!

You want the chrome, I want the body color grill; how about a trade???

Thanx guys, but since I am keeping my doorhandles chrome which I like, I think I'm going to go with the A-spec style grill.

Heres a pic of my old Accord with body color painted moldings. I really do like it much better this way.
