Opinions/specs on springs...
I'm considering springs and would like input before buying. Comptech, H&R, others? What kind of a drop and what changes in ride do they give? I want to improve handling w/o sacrificing ride comfort. I want a lower stance but don't want to worry about scraping a body kit.

I've been looking into this for awhile and here are options I found so far.
1) Comptech springs and stock dampers (~2 inch drop in front and ~1.5 inch rear). Springs are probably same ones used by Accord V6s and they don't look too progressivly wound. They look more like shortened version of stock springs. I don't know who acutally manufactures them for comptech.
2) H&R Sport springs and Tokico dampers (1.75 drop in front and 1.5 in back). H&R are spring specialists and they springs look more like traditional progessivly wound lowering springs. Since they are about 1/2 price of comptech, I'd get the stock shocks replaced at the same time with Tokico non-adjustables. I think both spring and shocks are same model as ones speced for Accord V6s. Guess the parts are interchangable. You can also go with Koni adjustable shocks for more money.
3) Apexi Coilovers. I'd say this is the most balanced setup since you can adjust the car drop as well as compression/rebound stiffness. Also since springs are matched with dampers, you are getting full damper effect at various drop levels. I have a feeling though that ride will be harsh with this setup. The springs look too small.
4) H&R OE Sport springs and stock dampers. The springs lower between 0.5 - 0.75 inches front and back and claims to provide better handling. This is the cheapest way to go without risking under body scrapes. The drop will be very subtle and will not alter the suspension geometry much.
Decision is kinda hard since you will be stuck with a setup due to high labor cost for swapping them out unless you do it yourself. I'm leaning towards option 2 (H&R sport + Tokicos). I'd like to get spring from spring specialist and shock from shock specialist.
If anyone else has any other setup recommendations please COMMENT!

Sounds like you've done your homework. I was talking with Closer and he said that he thought Suspension Techniques had a spring setup for the TL-S. It has a 1" drop.
I was going to check into those, but I like the sound of option (4) as well. I'm not really conserned with handling as much as I am getting rid of some of the wheel well gap. But I don't want to looked slammed.
