Question OnStar & windshield replacement.

Different sort of Question: Had a big ass rock take out the windshield on my tls the other day; f*cking Trucks., To make a bad situation even worse, it also put a small dent in my hood. eeerrrrrr!!! Anyways my question is. Has anyone had problems with thier onstar afterwards, being that its antenna is built into the windshield? I'm kinda concerned about some goober screwing up things.....Tnx

The OnStar antenna is on the roof of the car. That plastic antenna in the rear roof center. Your windshield isn't a part of the OnStar system.

Hey man, I hope you sped up and got the info off that truck. A few months ago I was hit with some rocks and I got the info off the truck and contacted the trucking company. Within 2 weeks I had a check for $1200 from the trucking company's insurance company. And here in Florida you get a free windsheild a year (if needed) from your insurance company and the claim doesn't count against you!
