Only Einsteins Or Psychics Repond To This
I had my 2000 TL auto trans rebuilt recently. It soon began vibrating (shuddering) when shifting from 3rd to 4th; then 2nd to 3rd. But it was very intermittent. It got progressively worse. The Aamco and Acura dealer thought it may be the egar valve but it remained after it was replaced. Aamco did another total rebuild this time using oem honda clutches and they had the factory torque converter rebuilt instead of using and aftermarket one.
Guess what - no change.
HEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Could it be a timing issue or a differential (does this car even have one
P.S.
I did not know of the recall but Acura reimbursed me for the rebuild.

I'm not psychic but I do get ESPn. Take the car to the acura dealer for fixing, though. It's under warranty to 100,000 miles and they'll do a lot better than some general mechanic will. Although I suppose you'll have warranty issues since you didn't get it replaced by Acura the first time. Good luck.

I have the same problem in my CLS and acura gave me some stupid excuse and didnt fix it. Im at 46k so I figure I got some more time. And if my tranny does go out on the high way and someone gets hurt Im blaming acura. Im going to bring it in again bc my SRS lightis on. Ill let you know what they say in detail this time.
