I want to lower my 2002 TLS using Comptech springs and get 18 Wheels and Tires. What will the car ride like? I have searched through the forums and read all past articles. I cant believe that the ride wont differ too much from stock. People told me the same thing before I dropped my Maxima - that car was lowered with Eibachs had Tokicos, front and rear strut tower braces and swar bars - with 235/45 17's. The car rode like crap, bouncy, harsh and loud! Someone please give me their honest opinon of what to expect.

Get the springs but stick with 17's.

The ride will be noticeably stiffer from just the springs, but add the 45 series tires and you get a major increase in road noise accompanied with another increase in the harshness of the ride.
