Ok squeaky's........

I'm taking my car to the dealer to get oil change and to install my CAI. I also told him about some of the squeak problems and they said they will work on it. I told him about the sunroof, dash, rear window........am I missing some? Let me know that way I will get them all fixed at once. I couldn't get RedLine in time so I will have to go with Mobil......

I checked with our local performance Auto parts house (Tognotti's in Sac) and can't find redline 5w20 oil. And I have been told by two other dealers that Mobil 1 5w20 is not yet available. Are you using Mobil 1 5w20? If so, where to get it?

A matter of fact, I am taking my car in for the following jobs on Monday morning:
1. Trunk alignment (one side is higher than the other)
2. Squeaky driver seat
3. Rear deck rattles
4. Rear speaker buzzes
5. Head light adjustment (too high)
6. Tire rotation

Rear speaker buzzes? Is this an electronic buzz or a mechanical buzz? I've been listening to NPR each morning and the past two days I noticed an soft, intermittent but definite electronic buzz (like a sawtooth wave at about 800 Hz) coming from the rear speakers. I attributed it to radio interference.

Now that you mentioned it, I do hear an electrical buzz also. Mostly what I heard sounded quite mechanical. But I heard this hissing sound when I play CD's with the volume set to zero. Try it!
