Oil question

Hi all,
Just a quick question. Does anyone knows if the TL could take 10-30 fully Synth. oil ? I know they recommended 5-20 but was just wondering.

I just put Mobil 1 5W30 Synthetic in mine about a week ago, I think thats the closest you can get to Honda 5w20.

i use 5w30 mobil 1 synthetic.

but yes you could use 10w30. i would use it only in the summer months

I live in TX and use 10w30Mobil 1 all year round. In talking to both mechanics and Honda people, 5w20 is recommended mainly for emissions. Modern vehicles can take a wide range of oil. There are a lot of varaibles, how you drive, where you live, etc.
Good luck, either will work, pick a good oil, the viscosity is less improtant within the renge we are talking.

aint 10W30 recommended for higher mileage vehicles?
