offset question

i know i know! do a search..but i cant find it ..i don tknow how to work the search right...so i want 17s with a +42 offset is that bad? what should i get?

What's the width? What tire selection you planning on going with? Any drop? You need to answer these questions to get a correct and plausible answer.

i want a 18 x 7.5 with a 45 offset with 225/40/18 tires what do you think

no drop? I had 18x7.5 with a 42 offset dropped on OE Springs and i rubbed......you will probably not rub with an offset of 45, but this depends on the tire selection....i say for with 225/40/18....this is all based on that u have no drop

I'm pretty sure you will have no problem even with a drop.
