OEM Kit on Anthracite TL-S

I've been considering the OEM kit for my Anthracite TL-S...

I have seen the kit on a lowered SSM car, and it looks quite awesome...

But for some reason, every picture that I have seen of the kit on the Anthracite color is pretty underwhelming to me...

Am I missing something? I asked a few of my female co-workers (males too, but the females seem to have a good eye for asthetics)...and they have the same opinion based on the pictures... Their opinion is that it may just be that the kit looks better on the lighter colors, but is not as asthetically pleasing on a darker colored car...

Any opinions out there? (I am sure there are!)

It may just be that you can't appreciate it on a dark color in pictures...that you need to see the real thing... Not sure...

Thanks!

I just got the kit put on my NBP type-s and it looks great! As a matter of fact, at first I did not even recognize my own car. When I went to pick it up the service guy told me it was parked in the lot, I look outside and just saw about 5 other 2nd gen TLs but not mine. Then I did a double take and noticed my license plate. There was another NBP TL parked about to spots away without the kit and you could really see the contrast. It looks so much better with the kit, I can't believe I waited a year to get it!

I have anthracite with OEM Kit. I have a colleague who has the same car without the kit, and most people think they are two different cars.

While the kit does really set it off from other TL's without it, I couldn't imagine people thinking they were two different cars. But yeah, the kit really makes the car look much better.

No I don't have my car lowered. Since the car is black and the tires are black the "gap" is not quite as noticeable. At least thats the way I see it!

Any scraping problems on speedbumps or driveways with the kit and the lowered suspension?

Like any lowered car I have to "angle" at big dips, but other then that its fine. You'll get use to it.

Understood... I always angle my car anyway, cuz I got used to it on another car that I owned...

Have you personally scraped, even with the care you take?

Yes, I have scraped a few times. Sometimes it's just unavoidable.

Don't know the exact inches, but finger gap wise it is 1 in the front and 1.5 in the back.
