My OEM kit for my 99' tl finally came today, but the colors don't match. THe front and rear skirts are black and match well, but my side skirts are dark purple. Is ther Anyone else that has ordered from Acura of Bellevue before, and has experienced the same problem? What can I do?

dont feel bad andy, acura screwed me today too, except it was hinsaws in fife. Just take the kit back & tell them to get the right one, & the one you received is unacceptable....bastards. Its like acura doesn't care about thier customers anymore?

i ordered a kit from Acura of Bellevue two weeks ago, i called the day after i made my order to make sure it was in and ready to ship. they told me they would have to charge me $150 to paint it because they didnt have any Black left and 100$ to cover shipping, bringing the total over 650, i said no and canceled my order.

i ordered my '03 kit from Tim at Ray Laks Acura about 5 weeks ago and just got it in on thursday. it took a while to get here but the kit is in perfect condition. '03 kits are normally $829 but Tim was able to paint them (because there's no more SSM) for me and get them shipped for the same price. the kit came in perfect condition.

Shady. I emailed them ahead of time and they quoted me $659 to get a kit shipped and painted in my color. Ridiculous. Other people who ordered were having theirs paint matched for free and shipped for the $400+ price.

Save yourself the trouble and stay away from them. In another post people were mentioning this guy: accessoryman@charter.net.

According to Dark DJ: "yeah i got my kit from there. his name is J. Dewey Kinchen, a real nice chap! i got mine for under $400, painted and shipped."

man... i'm kinda in the same boat... acura of bellevue got my my kit alright... but gave me the wrong front lip!!! i got the 99-01 version instead of the 02-03 version. i'm calling them tomorrow... oh and the colors are hard to match... i think all kits have this problem especially WDP

you'd have to email him and ask, but he should be able to get you a good price on them.

WDP is the hardest color to match, ive heard that from many WDP owners. My kit however, matched perfectly. i mean you cant even tell that i just put it on.

yea... i got that warning back when i was ordering it... right now it's not really buggin'... but later on, im gonna ask a bodyshop to tint it a little

my kit was like $393.22 or somethin like that. i heard you can get some good eibach sways on eBay.

on my 02 the color matchs good but the rear skirt has a gap in between the bumper and the skirt, just at the corners of the bumper, is this okay or should i look into it?

thats nothin to worry about really, its a known gap that happens to most of us.

Ray Laks Acura Honda is a dealer in Buffalo, NY. Tim is the internet parts manager and deals with most of the stuff when you call 1888RAYLAKS (toll free), i already called no big deal in hook ups though. he'l tell you it was $400, but now its plus freight, and if they dont have the color it's plus paint, plus shipping. Although one thing is free, it's "you getting raped up the @ss"!
