Odo and Climate Control Metric Conversion
I just moved to the States from Canada. My 99 TL has the digital odometer and climate control in metric. Does anyone know how to change the readouts to mph and degrees F? Th local dealer says I have to switch out a few computers. I can't imagine that Acura made seperate computers for cars built on the same line.

doubtful conversions ...
I seriously doubt there will be a 'direct' metric / imperial convert built specifically in the computer. I have a feeling that we have a 'similar' program as the Japanese local cars; the US have a US-specific program. Everywhere in the world uses metric except the US... ![Mad](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)
Hey -- if there is one (I checked the manual and there is no 'easy' solution to this), then please tell us. I would love to know how fast I'm really going when I'm over in Detroit ... (all I know is 0mph = 0km/h
and 55mph = 88km/h
)

There's no software "toggle" available for this. Just like your analog speedo gauge that reads km/h in the big numbers and mph on the small numbers, the Canadian-spec cars have different parts for this purpose. You'll just have to get really good at doing the math in your head.... ![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
At least you get to keep the DRLs....
