Thanks

i just posted about install time, price is subjective! depends on who does the work? ex: top dollar at the dealer @ $80 per hour labor = $240 plus tax? not too bad...

Now you make me want to get it, but I promised myself no drastic engine mod since the TL isn't a fast car. No point of doing it. Maybe I'll concentrate on some cosmetic mods.

sorry, but i have to take issue with that! " the TL isn't a fast car"? my 99 modded is pretty fast! when i need the juice that vtec is there! luxury sport sedan, no manual! wolf in sheeps clothing! isn't fast compared to what? and if you have a modded tl-s ! i/h/e your almost at 300hp! :flamer: if you think your tl isn't a fast car, do an engine mod like the obx with cai! that's what it's there for! better yet drive a tl that's been modded , then tell me what you think!?

Hey Steve, doesn't the headers make a world of difference?

I also agree that our TL is pretty damn fast for a 4-door sedan, even in stock form. When modded, it's :diablotin .

What kind of gains can you plan to see with the exhaust if you already have I/H I really don't want to change the look/sound of the car...and if the CT exhaust with the silencer sounds OK I would do that, but that negates any power gain right?

I wouldn't say it negates it. The Comptech exhaust is said to give 1-2 HP. Nothing that you'd really feel, it's more for look and sound.

I think my farts give out more hp than the comptech exhausts.
