Well here are some dirty photos of my debadged anus w/newly mounted 02' "A" and HKS exhaust...Exhaust took 15min. to install, used a hose clamp and wrapped it around the factory rubber hanger only for the lef one...It looks so much more aggressive in person...The sound is so sporty, I can hear the intake more when vtech kicks in...Shyne

hahah! I completely AGREE!!! But...i remember a few people say comptech's are too loud for their taste..... man...Comptech's are soooo quiet..it's almost stock.

i think the reason i want exhaust is for the sound. getting comptech is like wasting money IMO. i don't really hear the difference in the sound clips. also the HP gain is so little so that is not really a factor. plus, the HKS look more aggressive.

not too big in general, but too big for a TL. I've become a conservative modder now I guess, I just think that for a car like the TL that exhaust is excessive.

Plus, let's be honest, the car isn't THAT fast that it needs- what are those, like 4"+ tips? For having only an intake making a total engine HP of what, around 240? Those seem like an attempt to make the car look faster than it is and that's something I just can't understand. If it had extensive engine mods and was a lot faster than the stock version, then I'd be fine with them.

Here's a pic of my old modified Talon TSi AWD with a Greddy Power Extreme exhaust with a 5 1/4" tip. That was excessive, but the car was definitely fast enough that it could back up the look of them.

(BTW: that's a 2 Liter bottle)

Shyne: Doesn't your exhuast tip stick under the car. It's not flush with the back of the car right? I had to modify mine. From the pics, it looks like it's not flush. If you compare the factory exhaust setup with the HKS, the HKS is MUCH shorter. You have to mod to give it a professional install look.

Acura3200, Oh yeah....I know exactly what you mean. I myself would think it's too much for a luxury type car...but it's my taste IMO..it looks rather nice in a way. But who knows....Dude...that pic with the 2 liter bottle is crazy! I thought it was a soda CAN! But..that exhaust doesn't look like the PE....it looks like the SP...I know....cause I own a GReddy SP on my Accord...and that's how it's shaped..and my friend owns a PE on his Eclipse.. anyways...i'll get my car soon....then i'll decide on the exhaust system.

glad u guys like them...i still have to tweak the left one some more though...the exhaust is perfect in my opinion...you dont see many built of this quality...comptech might have quality...these have style, sound and quality...damn, i cant wait to get rims tho...i miss my enkei's bad...Shyne
