I notice there aren't enough stuffs on the market for perf mod for our car. So far, only intake, header, exhaust and a not been proven (long term) SC. When I flip through several Asians car mod mag, there are tons of stuff even for Echo and Corolla. Wish our car had more aftermarket parts choices.

hmmm, i dont know.... I had a 99 Infiniti I30 before this car, and the ONLY thing I EVER found was an intake, besides that rediculous universal crap. Owning the TL is like heaven compared to the I30, in terms of aftermarket stuff. I figured since there is so much for Hondas, there is a lot for Acura too. The only problem for me is $$$! I'm a poor college kid, but my chrismas list is expanding each day!

Loving my 08 TLS!
I believe the TL is more toward the "older" crowd since it is in the luxury sedan category. If you want a car with a lot of aftermarket support, go get a lower class car like a civics and tegs.

The IS300 is a souped up Civic.

Take a look at what is made IN Japan and you will start to understand the lack of parts for us. So many turbo 4 door RWD cars out. Not many tuners in Japan like FWD except for compact Honda's. It's hard to convince a tuner/parts company to make parts for a car that is only sold in the US. Most want them sold in both countries. The Inspire in Japan is not widely tuned because it is FWD and sold to the older crowd.

Your right on the point with that comment. A lot of Japanese especailly teenagers hop in to their RWD turbo Toyota Crowns or something and do those drifting stuff.
