I only know 2 members here that have NOS on their TLs. One is "SSS" and the other is "vtec tl"
SSS has 70 shots dry. He already has 80k miles, no problems that I know of.
VtecTL has 75 shots wet I think. He just recently got it.
SSS got it for like $700 installed.
I don't know how much does it harm your engine, since I never had NOS in any of my cars. I heard is not safe and it damages your engine a lot.
Here is a link of SSS car on action wiht NOS.

As long as you run a shot within the limits that your engine can handle and you use the nitrous moderately it shouldn't cause any extra wear to the engine. It is ignorant users that give nitrous a bad name. So don't worry. Spray away.!
BTW there are 4 TL'ers that I know of who are using NOS with no probs.

Most importantly, use a direct injection setup. A dry shot system will burn up the engine. A wet shot system will add fuel through the intake manifold, which was NEVER designed to have fuel in it. The fuel can puddle and ignite, creating a hell of a mess (nitrous backfire). The direct injection system interfaces with the fuel delivery system to increase fuel delivery to match the nitrous charge. It is more expensive, but the only proper way to achieve nitrous. Priced an engine lately? It's a lot more than direct injection! I'm not up on nos kit suppliers for the TL, ask around.
Bore spacing and head design are of sufficient size/ strength to handle a proper nos setup.
BTW, you may need to retard ignition 1-2 degrees and/or gap the plugs a notch. The kit/ installer will know, and it will depend on your shot. A 75 shot is getting up there, above 100 you must adjust for maximum life / performance and use octane boost.

ive heard a dry setup is better
if you go small, it wont hurt your engine, but it will hurt your tranny. the power increase isnt gradual (as it would be with a supercharger), it comes all of a sudden and thats what hurts the car

BTW our ignition timing isn't adjustable unless we buy an aftermarket ignition seeing that our TL's are running a DIS system. I'd stay away from dry kits. If you are planning on running over a 90-100 shot I'd buy forged pistons, rods, etc. and run a NOS direct port system. if you are going to stick with a shot of 80 or less than you should be ok with a single fogger wet nitrous injection system. Stylin Silver(Dhiren) is running an 80 shot dry system on his TL with no probs. And he has over 70k miles on his odometer.

When did you sell your sound stuff? How did you "gut" your trunk?

Oh, I didn't sell my sound stuff. It's sitting here in my computer room. I'll put it back in for shows and stuff. My trunk is now completely empty except for the NOS bottle. I took out my sub box and my amp, the trunk floor, the spare tire, the jack, and all the tools. I felt a big difference with all the weight savings.
