non-stock radio install?

My wifes 02 tl-s has the stock cd player in it and shes about fed up with it. It works fine but id like to get her something mp3/wma/aux port compatible.

So now the fun stuff, where do i even begin to look for aftermarket equipment? I can't seem to find info on how to actually replace the stock radio with an aftermarket one. I tried a search and came up blank. I've owned multiple hondas and it was always a simple install to replace the stock radio....this TL proves to be otherwise.

If i could go with a double-din navi unit that would be sweet too....

Ok after another brief search i found the dash kits (mounting) but what about the wiring to the factory speakers/sub/amp? I know bose can be a mess. Are there any extra wires i need to run or jumpers to wire to bypass the amps??

buy a metra dash kit and a harness.

you solder up the wires from your new HU to the harness and it will plug right in. then put in dash kit and pop in the cd player.

Don't believe the Metra kit allows installation of a dbl DIN unit- There's a guy in the black market section who makes custom kits for this, and I've seen a few on ebay.
