I'm hoping to finish up my conversion tomorrow, but I still have a few questions that need to be answered. Please help!

1. Since I have an aftermarket headunit, will I need to wire any of the 6 wires for the nav to function (i'm fine with no voice). If so, do I splice into the stock harness? I see A11-A14 is for the voice which I can avoid for now, but is wiring A1 and A4 necessary?

2. On the .pdf diagram, 3 wires to go the driver's multiplex, and 1 goes to the passenger multiplex? Does this stand true...alternative ways to route these wires?

3. And finally, in my '99, I don't have a PCM to splice into for C6...does this splice in the cruise control harness under the steering column?

bump i have the same questions. also can someone take a picture of the multiplex for me because im a bit confused on what im looking for. thanks

1. i dont think you have to splice the wire into the HU if you dont want voice
2. i would wire it into both multiplexes, because the actual fuse for the navi is in the passenger side

Note:never done a conversion, but it makes sense to me...
