No header gaskets in the whole state...

Like the title says there's not a single place who has the exhaust manifold gaskets in stock and I planned to install my DC headers today. Should I hold off a week and order new gaskets? Or would it be ok to reuse the current ones? I'm not gonna go back and change them, I'd rather wait so please don't make that suggestion.

I called Honda a week ago an his exact words were "Call Acura I'm showing they have it in stock" so I didn't sweat it. I called today up to Acura an hear "that's not a part I normally stock" someone needs their face punched...

I would wait you don't want to have to take them back off and redo all that work. Check with napa or any other auto parts store in your areas saw autozone also had some as well

Just tell Acura to order it. It takes them like 1-2 days to get it.

snooze lose my friend!
didnt this topic come up when you ordered/arrival of the headers--new gaskets or not?

I agree to ck NAPA and zone or oreillys--all of them are a phone call away
and have massive warehouses for next day orders

dealer can order with weekly stock, or special fast orders cost extra shipping

They come to the dealer Tuesday. Doing mid muffler delete, intake, and wood wheel today instead. Projects is projects I guess. Next week will be headers, motor mounts, and outlaw gasket/spacer kit install.

I'm amazed how that tiny ass muffler was keeping my sound so low. Love the way it sounds now.

The exhaust manifold gaskets arent needed. They are metal and reusable (unless you damage them somehow).

The original ones are on my car with nearing 500k miles. My manifolds have been off countless times with ZERO leaking. I have installed headers on many members cars and never had to replace them. New ones arent needed, just like the upper intake manifold gaskets.

Hence the reason no one stocks them. The only ones I've ever seen go bad are the aftermarket ones.

I finally got my DC Sports headers, installing Thursday. Going with a custom cat-back, quad tip set up. Did engine mounts, tranny mounts, total tune up (water pump, timing belt, seals, etc.) I'm going to try and reuse the oem gaskets. Does anyone know of strut bars that fit 2gens? Maybe accord bars would fit.
