No H&R OE for 02 and 03

since i'm getting my new wheels November 3rd..
i'm ready to order H&R OE spring..
today, i called hr for further detail on their oe spring for tl an tls
the guy who work there tell me they stop selling oe spring for 02 and 03
caz oe spring run into some problems with tl's weight change and something(my cell phone got fuzzy)
so no more oe spring for 02 and 03.. D'oh!

fine, i'll have to go with ct spring then..
a question.. do u ppl like this "rake" look or hate it?

I had the CT springs on my 2002 TL-P. I loved the raked look because it made the car look more aggressive. You will find that others don't really like the look. The CTs lower the car more than the H&R OEs do (1.25 inches vs. 0.5 or so), so be prepared.

Hmmm... maybe I will call them... if there are problems with the springs, I dont want to keep them. I do notice tho that the rear's dropped way low.... maybe they cant handle the weight.

The H&R springs were design for the Accord neways, none were really designed for the TL.

H&R OE sport springs part number 51858-55 made for the 2001 TL will work fine for your 02 or 03 TL and S-Type as long as the aftermarket wheels are within specs. The H&R advertised drop is 0.75 front, and 0.5 rear. Factoring in the additional weight of the TL, the actual drop will be 0.75 front and 0.75 rear ( add 0.25). The OE sport springs will also work with your factory struts or after market struts and you will not need a camber kit. Any drop equal to or less than 2 inches usually will not need a camber kit. What you will need is a wheel alignment after the install.

2002-2003 TL suspension is identical to the 2001-2002Accord suspension, both built on the same platform. The TL is slightly heavier than the Accord.H&R still sells the 51858-55 part number. Maybe the demand for 51858-55 was\is not as high as it was for the Sport springs. Many people prefer the latter. A lot depend on the wheels you use.
