no amber + smoked headlight housing??
i wanted to know if anyone had gotten the amber in their headlight housing cleared and then had the whole housing smoked out. i was just wanting to know what it looked like. i heard it has been done allot.

If you check out my site you can see what they look like cleared just image them painted a greyish color...

Two questions:
1. What does blacking out the headlights effectively do, if anything other than looks?
2. When headlights are cleared is anything else changed, ie: add a colored lightbulb or anything?

2. You can add a new lightbulb if you want, its up to you ... there isn't a defined process of how you do it, its a customization!
Just remember that anything other than amber for your turn signal will probably get you in trouble with the law.

No it doesnt effect the HIDs because the part around the HID is still shiney and not blacked out. As long as you keep a amber or orange bulb in either the parking light or turn signal you are obeying the law.
