Nitrogen air in the tires?

Have you guys heard of replace the air in your tires to nitrogen? If so let me know if it helps with the gas mileage and the ride of the car. There a upscale tire shop in cobb county, ga (Butler Tire) that is really pushing it with radio ads, just wondering if you have heard anything about it?????????

It's used in airplane tires because it does not retain moisture and will not leak through the tire membrane as fast.

I don't really see the point in a street car.
