Nissan SE-R Spec V

Raced one of these last night. He had turned onto the road I was going down, and hit it. When I pulled up to the light, he pulled into the lane next to me. I figured he was going to hit it, so when it turned green I waited a split second. He did.

As soon as I heard him hit it, I did too. His tires squeaked going into 2nd (funny how quickly he got there, love those 4-cyl) and I passed him. Went up to 70 and started to slow. He was a couple carlengths behind me.

Kept slowing down but he wouldn't come next to me. Finally, I pulled into the left turn lane and he went past. I figured he'd be some kid with his baseball cap on backwards (no offense) but he was some old guy with his wife

SE-R Spec V = new midlife crisis car?

actually it IS kind of a mid-life crisis car...

But damn, another really popular car is the WRX, or even the new WRX STi... There is a 50 year old man here in town who put maybe 10 grand or so in it, making it 300 some horsepower at the wheel plus wheels and bodykit, it looks really tight... He ran 12 something with it too last year.

and yes, good race

three of my friends have that car, it's not bad for the price. The engine's got some pep to it, but when i drove it i found myself shifting out of first gear before i even got comfortable in the seat. It was a pretty fun car to beat around with i haven't seen older people driving it around here tho??
