NGK plugs, iridiums or not??
i wanted to change the plugs in my car, since it has 52k on it.. i bought it wat 50k
I usually replace the plugs every year or so, can i just use NGK platinums? Arn't they like $2 to $2.50 each in the parts store?
I'm not looking to get any hp gains from the plugs, just as maintence. Or is it better to go with NGK iridium..
thanks..

The Denso Iridium ik20s are like 12-13 bucks each depending. I bought them from a private seller.
Replacing the plugs on the rear bank are a pain.
I like the IK20s. Can't really comment on the NGK platinums.

If you have mods go with the denso iridium ik20's, but they only last around 30,000 miles, which is ok since you change plugs once a year. If you are mod free, i say go with the denso iridium ik16

I like NGK better just because they claim "superior ignitability without sacrificing durability"more than performance which is the truth behing iridium plugs
