Hey welcome to the board!! Your part of the "elite" A-Spec group, congrats on your new purchase. Good luck and enjoy all those little A-Spec goodies we don't get to enjoy here in the states.

What other goodies are on the A-Spec that are not on U.S. TL-S

Thanks everyone!! I am not sure why A-Spec is not available to US, but other than the minor interior cosmetic, there is no difference to the Type-S. I was debating between between the Type S and the A-Spec, but since the dealer gave me a real good deal (I think), I couldn't refuse.

Everything about this car is great and all, but I really have to make a comment. The center dash looks real plain during the night. There is not much or not enuf lights (I think) to see anything. I was thinking of putting one of those blue lights to enhance the appearance. Any comments??

Got another question. Can anyone tell me whether I can make the driver dash a little brighter. ie replacing the lights at the back of the speedo, tach and fuel gauge? Or maybe changing those gauges to one of those indiglo ones?

My previous car is an Audi A4 and the dash on the A4 is really bright.

Congratulation on getting the awesome car and welcome aboard !!!
I assumed you don't have NAV since you were commenting about center dash. Usually when the NAV is on, the center dash will become pretty bright especially at the night time.

I am not sure if A-spec is 100% similar to TL-S or not but did you try turning the dash light all the way up ? The nob will be close to the fog light switch.

Hope this helps.

Cheers !!!

Yea.. I can imagine that with the Nav, it will look pretty cool, but since all Canadian vehicles do not support Nav system, I have plain looking center console (bbboooorrrrriiinnnggg ). I have already turned the brightness dial all the way up. Why is that, that there are indiglo gauges available for the TL but not for the Type S?? Aren't they the same??
