Question Newbie questions

Hey guys,

I have been doing a little searching for prices here and found a few posts claiming that the TL wil be redesigned in '02 as an '03 model. Does anyone know the facts? It does not seem to me that they would re-design the car again so soon.

Also does $29500 seem like a possiblity for a TL-S w/o navi? I have seen them here (FL) for $31500 sticker. I'm guessing here cuz I paid $27200 for my '01 TL w/o navi, sticker was $29500.

Thanks

Pricing depends on area to area, but $29,500 might be tuff.
I think you'd have a shot at $30k but 29.5 is doubtful.

As Mike said, pricing depends very much on the location from where you're buying. Here in socal, you should be able to get the TL-S w/o navi for about $29,000-$29,500 with some persistence.

I am going to purchase a TLs in about a week or two and i've had offers for 29.9k w/o navi and 31.7k w/ navi.....and i haven't even been in to the dealership to haggle yet. I am sure they would prob go about $500 lower when i go in.

I actually found a local dealer that has a White\Ebony w/o navi for a "Special" internet price of $29,400.

I'm gonna look at it tomorrow.

Thanks

I will eat my hat if you can't get a TL w/o nav for 29.5. Get a list of all the dealers within 100 miles of your home (check the official Acura website for location of dealerships). Use the "fax attack" (search the forum for posts discussing this) or send them an e-mail telling them what you are willing to pay and specifying your preferred color(s) and "options". Ask them to call you if they accept your offer. Once one or more dealerships accept your offer, call the other dealerships and tell them that you are giving them an opportunity to beat the offer. Don't EVER go into a dealership to negotiate. If you are looking to trade in, tell them that is the case but separate the negotiations. I don't have the info in front of me now, but the invoice price on a TL w/o nav is probably 28 grand or so (check edmunds.com for a good ballpark number). If you want more detailed negotiating advice, order the Acura TL package from Fightingchance.com. It will save you a lot more than the $27 it costs. Good luck!

hmmm, here in austin and houston, the dealerships wouldnt budge on the price...$31,080 for TLS and $33k for TLS w/NAV

in houston they didnt even want to try dealing...cuase they sell them too quickly...

personally, i got my interest rate reduced to 1.9apr and didnt pay taxes, and no money down...its a great lease offering...
