New Tranny Fix

I tried to do a search, but there are too many tranny posts and it's hard tofind the info I'm looking for. My question is this: does the "new" tranny fix (begun in Dec, I think) finally fix the problem? Has anyone had problems after the latest fix?

My tranny was replaced in Dec 03.

The problems they say are the Clutch Pack, Tranny Fluid Pickup, and ECU ( Thats what the dealer told me) My tranny i feel is starting to act up...so i doubt its fixed.

I got my first replacement last dec (03). it's been about 6000 miles and it seems ok. first gear is kinda different like it hesitates before accelerating. i believe the new fix is to replace the transmisison control module (tcm) and according to the dealer that replaced it, it's suppose to make the car put out less power in first gear...

Yup that's why the 99TLs are not having the same problems. Sounds like a poor design issue.
