my salesman told me to drive normally. no need to keep the car under 60mph at all, just drive the car with different rpm nicely. you can drive it at 100mph, although i didn't do that.
for most of the time i drive the TLS just like what i did to my old car for the first 600 miles. didn't drive past 85mph, and didn't go higher than 5500rpm. so far i have had almost 5000 miles on it and it's excellent.
i don't think i will have my first oil change until 7500 miles. the first set of oil they have is thinner.

First of all, I would not do any oil change until at least 3000mi. Let the car break in a little before changing oil. Also, I would not change to synthetic until 2 or 3rd oil change. I read some where that its better that way when changing to synthetic.
As for breaking it in, drive soft up until about a 1000 mi and start pushing car little by little up until about 3000 to 5000 mi. Remember, push your car LITTLE by LITTLE. If you push your car all of sudden, I don't think it will be good on your engine but if you start to build it up, it would be easier on the engine ( Its like warming it up).
Just my opinion.

you guys should go through the past posts. I've posted it in my old TECH TIPS.
It is so important to break in your engine properly. I'll soon do a leak down test on my engine and I challenge you all to beat my numbers!
