So today I purchased the sylvania silverstars 9006ST bulbs to replace the stock bulbs. I can see how the bulb does have a whiter light to it, but in my opinion I do not think they are much brighter if any at all, kinda upset that I spent $40 on them, maybe walmart will take them back

I thought about buying those. Glad I didn't. If you want to save some money, go back to Wal-mart and exchange them for the (sylvania?)"cool blue" two-pack. They cost me $17.87. They are brighter than stock, but I don't know how bright they are compared to the Silverstars.
