Welcome to the forum. Another Wisconsinite

First thing i would do is go to acuras website and register for ownerslink. Have your vin ready. It will tell you of the recalls and if your still covered under the extended warranty.

Heres the owner book for you too
https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp
The ownerlink should have said Recall- DONE
and Warranty Extension Campain OPEN
IS that what yours said?
Find your radio and nav security codes and log them into your acura.com account

Welcome to the zine!

also register with acura by phone- 1800-382-2238 x5
that way they have your info for any recalls in th efuture
Tell them you have slipping between shifts issue so they document it in your file, then head for the dealership
A box of donuts makes many friends there~

Yes, that's very important. Be sure that you see the "Warranty Extension Campaign OPEN" information on the OwnerLink page.

Many people confuse the oil jet recall and the warranty extension on the transmission when they are two separate items.

The 2003 model year is unusual in that not every 2003 TL is covered by the extended warranty. Coverage depends on the car's VIN number. (In contrast, every 1999-2002 TL received that warranty coverage.)

Welcome! Your gunna love your TL. Especially now that Azine has a hold of you haha. Thats a bummer you have problems with the tranny already. But hey I guess its not too bad since your covered. Motor only has 85K and you get a new tranny. You have many years of happiness ahead my friend. Now question is, wich mod to do first....
