Anyone have the new one on an older model TL (99-01)? I wanted to get it but the guy at the dealer told me it wouldn't work! Is he right? I really want to get it but if I spend the money and it doesn't work, I'll be pissed! Someone help!

He means the new Silver colored remote control that comes with the 2002 TLs.

I'm interested in getting one too. I asked my dealer today and he said that he's got no clue if it's compatible with prior model TLs. I personally would assume it's comptaible, but I want to know if anyone has tried it and knows for sure, one way or the other.

Does the new remote work with our '99-'01 TLs?
