new plugs and a seafoam treatment

finally put in my NGK Iridium IX spark plugs and seafoamed via vacuum port and gas tank. the old plugs were worn pretty evenly and not too badly. I even did a 0-60 and got 7.10 seconds. the car runs so smoothly now and just sounds great. i wil be getting new front brake pads installed tomorrow then get my oil changed. i guess it'll feel and drive just like it did off the lot if not better!

yeah!!! proof that seafoam will not hurt new plugs!!

that misunderstanding has spread and prevented some from doing the treatment
Its fine people- use it anytime you want

before oil change: throw a half can in the oil and drive at least 30 minutes/miles
make sure its warmed with 15 minute freeway drive to warm up and reliquify the sludge if it sits overnight before the change happens,, it needs warm so all the sludge drains out

remember to get the TB air plate- remove the air snout tube and use carb cleaner on the round plate -both sides and edges
wipe up runoff!!

lube throttle return springs while you are there
then its a new car!!

You are supposed to drive no more than 100 miles with the SeaFoam in your oil before changing it. It definitely works wonders though. I haven't done it to my car yet but I am planning on doing all three treatments.

before you use it, please read up more

you can SAFELY use seafoam far more than 100 miles- I go 150-200 no sweat, then change oil and filter,,same on my Honda bike
1 month is ok, 500 miles is ok,,in those cases I would install a new filter then do the miles
if first time its done

Seafoam says `monitor the dipstick for signs of sludge`,,which you dont find on a normal TL,, www.seafoamsales.com
