Loks good man , I don't follow your build but may I ask a question? Are you bolting this up to stock type s motor or you have more mods to go with this ?

I've always liked how it looks as well as moar performance .

I only have a Tl p engine right now and believe I'll be the first to put this on a tlp. the only other mods I have are listed in my sig. I dont have a Build thread but will probably make one after I put this on. next year I'm planning on at least swapping in a type s motor and probably will build a 3.6 like civicdrvr and Jcharged

Thanks I've been wanting to do this for awhile. Nothing wrong with changing parts that can save your car or life

Thanks I'm trying to get it done before I take my car in to get new tires next week. I have a feeling I'm going to need the new tires for traction because I'm already having problems in first into second. I'm hoping this will be a substantial gain that you can actually feel like the headers.

Type s throttle body for now. I don't really feel like drilling a hole into te new manifold for a different throttle body to work properly. When I change my motor next year I'll have no choice and might no even use this set up anymore.

Just drill that puppy out!! Might as well. It's for the good of the car! Just measure twice cut once! Too bad you're not closer, I'd take it into work and pop the hole in no problem. Best part about my job is being able to do what we call "government work" or personal jobs. Any welding or machining I need I just bring it to work!

No, its direct bolt on. Requires some small modifications to plug in the sensors, but nothing you can't do easily.

But I would just enjoy the new mods, and consider a new TB later.

I'm with you I'm just going to put them on and enjoy them and upgrade later when it really matters. When I talked to reese7879 or something like that. He said because te iacv you have to drill a whole in your intake and your intake manifold to get it work properly. Somethig about having to get air before and after the throttle body. He has the blox 76mm throttle body.

If i was that close I would be paying fsttyms1 to swap in a 6 speed and different throttle body for me. I'll upgrade te throttle body later I just want to make sure it runs right and works well before I drill a hole into the manifold. I'm the first one to use this manifold and ported runners that I've seen on this site.

Nice should help with your motor a lot. Are you going to delete the butterflies. Hopefully I can get my car to half of what yours is one day.

Come on down. We weld anything here. Usually huge shit so all the small stuff is like a break. I need to start learning to do it myself.

Looks like a great mod!
Questions:
1. wherey did you get the mani/ how much $$?
2. Is this just going to bolt up to your Tl-p block?
3. how much was your porting and polishing?

Pm me if you want to know how much the runners cost

Thanks. I'm just leaving the butterflies open for now unless it feels like I've got no power down low. I like te way this manifold looked, it's half the weight, and is made out of magnesium alloy so it doesn't get as hot

Would it be okay to just leave the butterflies closed? Or would you run into issues when you hit VTEC? Not issues as in reduced power, but as in damage to the engine.

You will lose a lot of power up top if you leave it closed to gain a little bit f torque down low.

It wouldnt cause any damage to the motor. Though it would be better with them removed or stuck open. The gains would far out weigh the little bit of loss down low.
