Question New pads, turned roters, now I have a noise!

I searched the forum and wanted so see what everyone's input was on this.

I replace my pads with Satisfied ceramics (per most of the threads I read), but now when I am coasting there is a thumping noise coming from the driver's wheel. When I accellerate it goes away, but if I coast it comes back. The rate changes with the speed that I am going.

Any ideas?

try bedding your pads in more... and see if it goes away..?

if not, have the person who installed it, check it out for you.

if you installed it yourself, check the black, flat, metal plate thing that goes behind the rotor.. i bent mine a little inwards and it made a noise touching the rotor.. i just bent it back and the noise was gone..

there is grease that you can apply to the calipers parts that move and there is antisqueal stuff that you can apply to the back of the break pads towards the caliper piston.
